You can contact the Church Office at 505-298-5596 or email our Financial Secretary to confirm that we received your donation or you can check your bank account posted transaction history.

By PayPal:

If you are donating via PayPal, simply Log In and select My Account and click on View Donation History located towards the left of your screen. This will take you to PayPal Transaction History. There you can filter to specific timelines. If this is your first time, please take a moment to Sign Up and follow the prompts. Afterwards, click on My Account and than View Donation History.

Tithing is the act of giving the first 10% of one's income before any other deductions. It is seen as an act of obedience to God, where we give cheerfully and without expecting anything in return. The concept of tithing is rooted in the belief that everything belongs to God, and as humans, we are entrusted with managing His resources.

Your donation will directly support the ministries of St. Paul's.

This includes a range of uses, such as purchasing crafts for teaching children about Jesus' love or support a family in need during the cold winter months. In essence, all gifts contribute to the general ministry fund of St. Paul's, enabling the various initiatives and programs to thrive, helping us connect people and transform lives. Unless specified otherwise.

While the Church prefers unrestricted gifts to support its operating budget, we recognize that you may have a specific purpose in mind when responding to God’s stewardship call. As such, the Church will accept designated contributions for specific ministries, programs, or budget components under its Offering/Contribution Policy. However, the Church reserves the right to decline any restricted gift in its sole discretion. We want you to know that according to IRS regulations, gifts specifically designated for an individual do not constitute a charitable contribution. However, donations to a church's general benevolence fund, which may indirectly benefit individuals in need, are considered eligible charitable contributions. When giving, you will not be charged any fees, and the amount you choose to give will be recorded on your contribution statement. However, the church may incur processing fees for debit/credit card transactions when using services like PayPal.

To maximize your giving, it is recommended to give from your bank account, as this method does not typically involve any fees. Simply select Recurring Giving option to set up a recurring giving schedule.

Yes you may. We accept any debit or credit card issued by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express via PayPal. However, the church does incur fees for processing debit/credit cards.

Most banks have an online bill pay service. Go to your bank’s online bill pay, enter the church’s name (St. Paul's United Methodist Church) and the address:

Make sure you indicate where to apply your donation in the memo section. Generally, online bill pay takes 5-7 days to process. Please notate the confirmation number your Bank provides you after you complete their Bill Pay process.

Rooted in Christian heritage, the Endowment Fund provides a permanent fund that generates investment income. St. Paul's currently has different Funds; which include but not limited to: Memorials, Missions, Music, Sacramento Camp, Buildings, Scholarships, and the General Fund.

Other funds can be created.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, "the Church", is a part of the Albuquerque District of the New Mexico Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church (NMAC).

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions are deductible as charitable donations under current tax code provisions.

We will provide statements of actual contributions for tax purposes (currently Quarterly), which can be used to document your charitable giving on your individual income tax returns. Cash gifts are included in statements to the extent the Church is able to identify the donor. By completing the Authorization Form, you acknowledge you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy⌝.
